Missing navigation menus

Zack states that "WooCommerce will install the navigation menu", however when I install the theme there is no navigation menu. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Jeff, I think Rich is correct. You may have to setup the menu. You can refer to the video entitled Custom Menus in WordPress for how to do that.

As I mentioned on Rich's post the problem was that the video implied the WooCommerce plugin would insert the proper menus. I used your suggestion Dustin to add them manually instead. I'm not sure why the video would imply the plugin would insert them for me however. Still not confident that my putting in the menus manually what the right course, but I think I can proceed with the rest of the lesson.

Thanks.

Jeff, I've not reviewed that course, but there is a way to automatically add pages to a menu.

Hi Jeff,

Do you have a custom menu set up via Appearance > Menus? If you can't see the options for the WooCommerce options right away you may need to activate them via the Screen Options panel drop down in the top right.

There will then be an option to tick sections such as Product Categories which will add them as a list of products under your pages box and allow you to add these to your menu as you would a normal page link.

Apologies if I've misunderstood but hope that helps otherwise.

Sorry Rich, the Screen Options nor the Product Categories were not the solution. The problem was that the video implied that the WooCommerce plugin would add the menus needed, that was not the case.
