Missing sections?

I wonder if this is a problem with me, or it's the same with everyone... I think that the videos I see are missing parts. For example this video started with already having an equation, but in the previous video there was nothing about making an equation. Also, before the previous quiz, in the video about comments, there was nothing about how to make the multiple line comments... It's as if there would be parts of the videos that are missing. What's going on?

Same thing is happening to me. The videos are cutting off for me and I'm missing a lot :(

Hampton Paulk it seems as tho ive been experiencing the same thing. The video will start off with lines of code that weren't introduced at all. It makes the video confusing.

Can confirm, not really sure why this is happening, although its either the video is cut short, or the lessons are completely missing.

Exactly. I went from learning about how to build a website basics on the PHP track to jumping into details without any explanation of syntax. So confused.

3 months later, I can confirm this is still happening. Pretty bummed no one from Treehouse has responded or fixed the issue in the intervening months since it was initially reported. I thought I was losing it there for a minute, glad to see it's not just me.

Same here. It's easy to follow at this juncture (<ul></ul> is just a way to make an unordered list in HTML and the arithmetic calculations of the variables are not so complex as to not being able follow them) but further down the line, will this continue to happen? Oh, the sweet mysteries of life.

I also agree that for now, because this isn't my first Treehouse Track, I can follow the concepts...mostly...but Hampton is leaving out a lot of information...not cool, and creates a lower quality experience for learning PHP.

Problem with the missing part is still there. Besides that, my HTML code starts at a different rule number then the code in the video...

Personally don't think the videos are missing information due to an error with the video software that's deleting information, the videos are missing information because the instructor Hampton is leaving out a lot of information. He doesn't strike me as a very good teacher. He's repeatedly introduced concepts in his videos that he either doesn't fully explain or never explains. Not impressed with him at all so far. I've rated most of his videos 1-2 stars.
