MULTIPLE SITES

How can I setup multiple sites, I think you guys SHOULD create a short vid on that. I have been trying to do so for hours unsuccessfully.
Can someone explain this process step by step? thank you!

Hi Ulises!

In any server (also on your local server) you can create multiple directories and install new instances of WordPress in each directory. You can install (copy WP files) to for example www.yourdomain.com/site1 and another to www.yourdomain.com/site2.

WordPress needs database to work so you need to have two databases available. You can link your WP instance to your database in the WordPress set-up process. There's also an option to use one database and configure different WordPress instances to use different prefixes for their tables but that's probably not a very good idea since you'd have all your WP data in a single database.

Hopefully this helps a bit!
