iOS Swift Enums and Structs Structs and their Methods Struct Methods

My answer does not meet specification.

struct Expense {
    var description: String
    var amount: Double = 0.0

    init (description: String, amount : Double) {
        self.description = description
        self.amount = amount
    }

    func calculateTaxes(percentage: Double) -> Double {
    return(self.amount * (percentage/100))
    }
    // add the calculateTaxes method here
    // it should accept only one parameter named 'percentage' of type Double

}

var item = Expense(description: "Digital Crypto Currency parameters: [Initialization Complete]", amount: 100)

it compiles correctly though.

struct.swift
struct Expense {
    var description: String
    var amount: Double = 0.0

    init (description: String, amount : Double) {
        self.description = description
        self.amount = amount
    }

    func calculateTaxes(percentage: Double) -> Double {
    return(self.amount * (percentage/100))
    }
    // add the calculateTaxes method here
    // it should accept only one parameter named 'percentage' of type Double

}

var item = Expense(description: "Digital Crypto Currency parameters: [Initialization Complete]", amount: 100)

You seem to have added a parameter to the Expense initializer that is not called for in the challenge. You shouldn't need to make any changes to the Expense struct at all except for adding the calculateTaxes() function.
