My answer to this question is: sayButton.click(greeting) { }); Not sure why my code does not work. Anybody?

Why is my answer rejected? It's:

sayButton.click(greeting) { });

app.js 
var sayButton = document.getElementById("say");
var greeting = function() {
  alert("Hello World!");
} sayButton.click(greeting) { 
});
index.html 
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head></head>
<body>
<button id="say">Say "Hello World!"</button>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Hi Andre,

I would advice you to watch the vid one more time. It's explained there exactly what to do. You wrote your statement a bit wrong. If you want a fast answer, this is the way to go:

var sayButton = document.getElementById("say");
var greeting = function() {
  alert("Hello World!");
} 

sayButton.onclick = greeting;

But like i said, Chalkers explains it all really clear in the vid before the challenge.

Thanks for this. It should actually have been

sayButton.onclick = greeting;

I discovered after trial and error
