my anwser to this question is giving error

Hey there,

you have to put the pencil.png image on top of the smiley.png image, so you have to write it first. The second problem you have is that you forgot to add the value no-repeat to the pencil.png image.

Like so:

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

.sketch {
  background: url('img/pencil.png') no-repeat left bottom,
              url('img/smiley.png') no-repeat right top,
              url('img/texture.jpg') #EED293;
}
