My css file isn't linking to html file

My css file is not linking to html, the line of code I'm using is

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title>Ricky Redman's Resume</title> <link rel="stlesheet" href="resume.css"> </head> <body> <img src="https://placeimg.com/200/200/tech" alt="Ricky Redman Developer" class="main-image"> <h1>Ricky Redman Web Developer</h1> <h2 class="section-title">summary of qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Experience as a freelance web developer</li> <li>Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</li> <li>Experience with Customer Service and Sales</li> </ul> <body/> <html/>

I've even used /css in front of "resume.css" and still not linking

You misspelled the value (stlesheet) when specifying the relationship between the HTML document and the linked CSS document.

Try it this way, with stylesheet as the rel="" attribute's value: <link rel="stylesheet" href="resume.css">

Add this line of code within the <head> of your HTML document.
