HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Use the Navigation Element

My index.html will not update on the "website"

I have saved it but all the extra code that I add will not actually update on the page when I view it with the eyeball, I have tried deleting it and rewriting the code, as well as restarting chrome and reloading the webpage

Have you tried viewing it in a separate browser (ie. Firefox, IE)? I know that I have come across moments in making multiple changes that sound similar to yours. Clearing cache and killing cookies and then doing a browser restart will usually fix it if that is the issue.

I had the same using firefox. At first I thought there is something wrong but it is solved once you preview your work and refresh the page either pressing the refresh button or the ctrl+r shortcut on windows (I guess it's commant+r on a mac)
