my result was not the same after commenting out

The tutor said comment out... // $location = "Orlando, FL"; and the location would not show. True, it did not show but "Notice: Undefined variable: location in /home/treehouse/workspace/index.php on line 26" appeared. But this did not show in his tutorial.

I notice that on line 26 there is indeed a call for that variable <p><?php echo $location ?></p>

Malcolm Stretten , I think he turn off the error reporting

error_reporting(0);
