Android Build an Interactive Story App (Retired) Finishing the User Interface Formatting Strings

Name is not getting replaced/shown in the app

Name is not replacing the placeholders placed in the story here is snippet of my loadpage() method please help

 private void loadPage()
{
        Page page=mStory.getPage(0);
        Drawable drawable = ResourcesCompat.getDrawable(getResources(),   page.getImageId(), null);
        String pageText=page.getText();
        pageText=String.format(pageText,mName);
        mTextView.setText(pageText);
        mImageView.setImageDrawable(drawable);
        mTextView.setText(page.getText());
        mchoice1.setText(page.getchoice1().getText());
        mchoice2.setText(page.getchoice2().getText());

Abhinav,

you are calling setText on mTextView twice. Once with the formatted String pageText and then again with the text from the page object.
