Need help

Hi, I wrote the following code for Task 3 of 3 under "Exceptions to the Rule topic" and my answer was wrong. I tested the code in workspace and it works just fine. Why is it wrong in the challenge assignment?

trial.py
def add(num1, num2):
    try:
        num1 = float(num1)
        num2 = float(num2)
    except ValueError:
        return None
    else:
    return (num1 + num2)

Resolved the issue. I added the floats and assigned to total variable; then returned total.
