need help

I used this slice1 = favorite_things[-2:] and also slice1 = favorite_things[5:] which give you the last 2 items of the list but they seem not to work

slices.py
favorite_things = ['raindrops on roses', 'whiskers on kittens', 'bright copper kettles',
                   'warm woolen mittens', 'bright paper packages tied up with string',
                   'cream colored ponies', 'crisp apple strudels']
slice2 = favorite_things[5: ]

Don't overwrite slice1 during Task 2. You have the form correct: slice2 = favorite_things[-2:]
