Need help solving task 3 of this code challange

This is the second time I am attempting to get help for this code challenge. Any idea what I am doing in correctly? Also, would love to find the answer for finishing this code on the same line as "menu".

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

sundaes = available.split(';')

menu = "our available flavors are: {}."

display_menu = sundaes.join(';')

menu = "our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)

When using the join function in python you call the function on the separator string (", ") and pass the array as a parameter.

Like this:

", ".join(sundaes);

Your code for formatting menu is correct but you declared menu twice; the first one won't be necessary.

The final solution:

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

sundaes = available.split(';');

display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes);

menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu);
