What am I doing wrong?

NSMutableDictionary *carDict;
carDict = [NSMutableDictionary alloc];
[carDict initWithObjectsAndKeys: @"Honda", @"Make", @"Accord", @"Model", nil];

Hi Alex,

You've done everything required but you've broken the lines up. This should be done on one line of code.

So, start by declaring (the left of the equals), as you have done. Then you need to alloc which you have done on the second line but do this on the right of the equals sign. Nest the alloc square brackets inside the square brackets for initWithObjectsAndKeys: and then add your string literals as you have done. This all comes out like:

NSMutableDictionary *carDict = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] initWithObjectsAndKeys: @"Honda", @"Make", @"Accord", @"Model", nil];
