need help with this one, i can't see what it would be since it's not notifyDataSetChanged();

We've set up a ListingsAdapter instance in the adapter instance variable for you. In the callback for onActivityResult(), within the if statement, notify the adapter some data has changed.

// This is an excerpt from the full file. protected void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int responseCode, Intent intent) { if (requestCode == REQUEST_CODE && responseCode == RESULT_OK) {

    // YOUR CODE HERE

}

}

MainActivity.java

notifyDatasetChanged() is a method on Adapter classes (from BaseAdapter), not Activity. You'll need to call it on the Adapter you want to notify.
