OK, this second one should be pretty similar to the first. Make a new function named first_and_last_4. It'll accept a single iterable but, this time, it'll return the first four and last four items as a single value.
def first_4(iterable):
return iterable[0:4]
def first_and_last_4(iterable2):
return iterable2[:4] and iterable2[-5:]

231,269 PointsIt looks like you have two issues:
- to join strings together, use "+" — "and" is for logical combining when you want a true/false result
- a startintg value of -5 will give you last 5 characters instead of the last 4

5,163 PointsYou are returning only the last 5 items. Try 'iterable2[-4:]' instead of 'iterable2[-5]', and put a ',' instead of 'and'.
