Need to add a title element, it is saying I am not writing the right code.

Okay, thank you all. I got it. <title></title> just wasn't paying attention.

which will not show. Try...

<title>My Website</title>

Try:

<title>Place Your Title Here</title>

I think it has something to do with the '!' at the beginning of your text area. I feel like writing <! is leading the program to think you're starting a DOCTYPE declaration.
