I'm Ryan Mouser, the Content & Community Marketing Specialist here at Treehouse. My pronouns are he/him. I was 15 years old when I started learning to code in PHP for a popular text-based MMORPG game. I've been with Treehouse for over 2 years now and have had the amazing opportunity to wear many different hats. Hi everyone, I'm michael.

Best thing about coding is the endless potential it provides. Not just through potential employment ether. It's amazing just how powerful code is. I know we stare at a lot of text all day long but I like to not forget how impactful my contribution could be given dedication and hard work. It excites me that so many people could one day be impacted by what I do behind this little keyboard ;)

I'm on LinkedIn, let's connect! I like meeting new developers and hearing about their journey.

Previous to starting the Treehouse Techdegree I started building a royalty accounting SaaS app for the music industry. It's up and running but has a ways to go, decided to get a better grasp on building APIs and things before continuing with the app.

Also, I'm always looking for collaborators who are interested in building projects for experience.

When I'm not coding I'm cycling or catching the sunshine when it's out (I live in Seattle)

Nice to meet you Micheal. Your projects sound super cool, I would like to have the knowledge at some point to be able to develop projects like the ones you work on. If I can support you in something, I am at your service.

Greetings everyone I started learning on treehouse 3 or 4 years ago but never took it all the way. Now I’m fully committed to the full stack JavaScript tech degree which I find awesome. I’ve done web design for a number of years but have never really been a coder. My interest is more along the lines of backend development. I’m not really interested in a job the way many people are as I’m wanting to remain a freelancer. So I just want to learn this well enough to create useful apps. I really like the creative aspect of programming, all that code comes together to make something unique so I’ve come to see it as an art form. There is a great community here which is one reason why I love treehouse. You can connect with me on LinkedIn. Happy coding and see you around the slack channels...

Nice to meet you Colin. Like you, it seems to me that there is nothing more spectacular than the creative power that the code provides and how gradually the code transforms you and makes you a better professional. If I can support you in something, I am at your service.

Hi, I´m Arturo Apanco.

The best part of the coding is the incredible ability that the code gives you to turn your designs into functional reality and to be able to see how the result is something as satisfactory as you had planned or better.

This is my LinkedIn profile and these are three sites that I have developed:

AUUN Consulting Lawyers

Acu Clinic Spa

Metate Negro

In addition to studying at TreeHouse I am an Art Director at Numan Digital, I have designed some sites visually and functionally, but I felt that my knowledge was very poor and that I needed this update. When I'm not doing web design, I like to cook and grill🥩. I live in Cuautitlan Izcalli in Mexico.

The 3 websites are looking nice

Greetings Alexi! Thank you for the support and encouragement. I will definitely reach out as I continue learning CSS and approach project 2! Have an awesome weekend and happy coding. :)

Hello Everyone

I am Daniel. I am a Senior Software Developer at a Company in Denmark where I work in a "core" team that develops central systems, automation of internal workflows with Powershell, central component that is shared(Made in .NET/C#) between departments, build systems, Azure component development, automated deployment(CI/CD), Research of new Technology and Arkitektur. In other words; we are nerds that love learning new technology, write a lot and push the limits. That also means we work too many hours...

I don't have anything fancy to show as everything is in the back, which is one of the reasons I have signed up for a JS full-stack tech degree. I wish to be able to work on projects that also have some sort of visual layer and the company I work for just decided to use React. I didn't have much time to study the last few months, but next week is time to pushing.

I love meeting new people, and especially people who wish to create new projects. I am looking into starting a private project that could either become something fun to work on or a project that could become a company. Apart from being addicted to learning... I love playing games when I need to relax or traveling with my girlfriend.

The thing I love most about coding is you can swift away into a deep concentration to solve serious issues and get a rewarding feeling

Hello Daniel, nice to meet you. Thank you very much for your comments to my sites, I know that you still need more work on interactive behavior but that is why I decided to be in a TreeHouse student. If there is anything I can support you in the development of your personal project, I am at your service. Greetings to Denmark.

Hey everyone.

I'm David. I am QA automation at a Company in California where I work writing scripts for testing Salesforce environment.

This is my first month at Treehouse and I've been learning Python since then, My knowledge is pretty basic, good enough to write selenium robot framework scripts and I already learnt great stuff here.

Here is my Linkedin profile

  • I love reading and playing strategy videogames

Looking forward to connecting with you all.

David, nice to meet you. Basically I don't know much about phyton so I can't be of much help there, but if you need some kind of digital Design, UI Design or digital Design I'm at your service. greetings from Mexico

Greetings from sunny Florida! I'm Erika and I am on the FEWD journey. I started a little over a month ago so I don't feel like I know enough about coding to answer "what is the BEST thing about coding." I will say that I like the process and structure that is involved in coding. I am working towards changing my career from librarian to FEWD. I am pressing my way through Unit 2 of the program and currently learning CSS, and doing the 100 Days of Code challenge. I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy besides learning new things. I enjoy running, yoga, spending time with my dog Jubilee (you can see her pretty face in my profile picture), reading (my favorite genres are Sci-Fi, Fantasy and manga), helping out at my church, playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, watching Disney movies, coloring, and building LEGO sets. This is my LinkedIn and Twitter. Nice to meet you all and thank you for sharing your stories!

Hi Erika, nice to meet you, like you, I'm in the CSS stage, so if any questions arise, we could gladly support each other. Greetings from Mexico PD. And now you have motivated me to enter the challenge of the hundred days of code.

Hi All,

My name is Toye. I'm doing the fullstack javascript techdegree. To me, the best the about coding is numerous avenues one can take (web dev, mobile dev, app dev, game dev, AI/machine learning, data science, etc.). It's an awesome skill that can be applied to so many different areas.

I'm happy to connect with anyone on LinkedIn.

Besides code, my interests are hoops, music, and hanging with friends. Looking forward to summer to get out and enjoy the weather.

Hi All,

I'm Laura. I am a rookie trying to learn web design. I started a month ago. I never coded before. It is very challenging and interesting to me. I am really into logical thinking when I doing those questions. And I also started making my own resume page. I finished the HTML structure and doing CSS lessons right now. I hope to make my web page impressive and attractive. I also hope to find a new positive way of my career. I really enjoy the process of coding.

I am happy to meet anyone on Linkedin

The best thing about coding is the in demand set of skills I acquire as well as the problem solving skills I obtain.

I'm Sarah. I'm an academic at heart. A habitual student learning and improving my metacognition. Also, I am interested in improving my understanding of computer science. Data structures and algorithms across multiple programming languages enthralls me.

I am currently working on my first project which is building a portfolio website of all current and future projects. See my linkedin profile for more information.

I'm so thrilled to start sharing more of myself and documenting my journey with all of you.

For the longest time I've had the wrong perceptions on math. I had a math phobia. In the past I dislike math only because I had poor self image in my own abilities to master mathematics and I didn't have the motivation or support from my peers to enable me to be confident in mastering it.

Now my perception has changed. I like that doing math problems creates new neural pathways and expands cognitive capabilities in the brain.

I love the learning process and find joy in the challenge of it.

I am

Hi Guys. I am also new. Just started about two weeks ago. I like to say Tree house is really doing a great job at introducing first timers to coding. However, I like to know if there is a platform where students can combine all the courses they have learnt into building projects which have been outlined and structured by the Tree house staff to cover all what a particular bundle entails. For example, a full blown website containing most modern features as a crowning project for students who enrolled for a course like FULL STACK web development. This will really serve to build confidence.

Hey everyone, I am new to Treehouse since March this year and have loved learning on this site. I feel as though the information is not empty and can actually help me progress to where I want to be as a programmer rather than other learning tools. I am an aircraft engine mechanic hoping to expand my maintenance knowledge into something else such as software. I look forward to getting to know you all! www.linkedin.com/in/kelcey-kocer
