Treehouse Guest TeacherNew cut of In the Wild Episode #1 (Featuring Haneke Design) is LIVE!
Howdy Treehouse!
Our first episode of In The Wild featuring Haneke Design (an Interactive agency in Tampa, FL) has been revisited and recut and we'd love to hear what you think!
http://teamtreehouse.com/library/in-the-wild/interactive-agency-haneke-design
The idea behind In The Wild is to take you behind the scenes to different types of work environments for developers and designers. From the traditional ad agency world, to small interactive agencies, freelance, contracting, and more. We want to show you what it takes to get in the door, and what your average workday might look like.
Where would you LOVE to see In The Wild head to next?

20,126 PointsThanks for sharing, Allison! In The Wild seems like it has the potential to turn into a really great Treehouse series. What's more, I think it really has the potential to teach viewers what it's like working day-to-day in the field!
I noticed that Haneke thrives on teamwork and cultivates a very particular style of UIX design, and I think it's great to see how different organizations approach their clients' goals and tasks. I think it would be cool to see more episodes!
I take it that ITW is a Gold member exclusive?

7,329 PointsHonestly I would LOVE to see the inner working of treehouse, how you guys work on a day to day basis, what it looks like when planning/recording/editing videos and coming up with ideas.
Loving the In The Wild stuff at the moment!

7,954 PointsWow, how cool! I knew I recognized the name "Haneke Designs" from somewhere - they're local (I'm in Tampa). It's awesome to see tech stuff (Team Treehouse included) in Central Florida!!

30,415 PointsLiked it! Can I suggest you guys don't be afraid to make these a little longer and ask some tough questions too. Like what software do you use? Tips and advice on how to become successful. Even how do they promote on social media. I feel like the same questions are being asked which is fine but I feel like they say the same thing.

15,479 PointsI would like to see the In The Wild segments be a little longer. The insights of strategy and company culture are important. For the first one, I was basically interested in what they look for in new hires. I think that is a good focus for the Treehouse audience. We want to know what we can do to get to where the big names and the successful people are at.
Any good, well-established, and cutting edge agency is cool to hear from.

31,206 PointsCool series! Might be too much work, but it'd be cool to see how a company tackles a specific client or project from start to finish.

This was awesome, I love how Jody talks about what he looks for in a new hire. Passion and willingness to learn > just knowing the technology. Even though he doesn't go into great detail, pretty refreshing for "treehousers".
I can't wait for more of these!

4,902 PointsVery informative video. I agree with Kris. The best aspect of this video was hearing what they look for in a new hire.
I'm looking forward to the rest in the series!

10,199 PointsExcellent format. What would be interesting to see how the answers to same or very similar questions vary ( or not ) among firms, business categories and niches. The only other question I would like to see answered would be - what technologies they themselves are focusing on and what if any frameworks, tools or practices they are adopting internally.

Great video; well produced and informative.
It would also be great to learn about how they market their services.
Look forward to seeing more I.T.W. episode!
