New Treehouse Track! "Game Development with Unity"

Hey everyone,

As of an hour ago, there is now a Track called Game Development with Unity! Here's the link:

https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/game-development-with-unity

I know that many of you have been requesting this, and I'm sorry we weren't able to do it sooner - there just weren't quite enough courses to make what we feel is a complete Track. That changed today with the release of a new course called Object-Oriented Programming in Unity, and we now feel that our Game Development curriculum is finally in a more complete state.

We have lots more Game Development courses and news to announce in the future! Stay tuned. :)

All the best,

Nick

Awesome ^_^

I'm chuffed with this. I was 90% sure I was going to choose Java for my next track but now that a Game Decelopment curriculum has been finalised I'm very tempted to switch.

I am a very excited Treehouse student :)

Why was this track removed? Can't find any game development courses in the library anymore.. sad :(

Hi Dennis.

Unfortunately, Game Development was discontinued as a topic at the end of last month.

This link will tell you more but it's just about Treehouse focusing on other areas as it's tricky to keep up with the content while the Games industry continues to grow and change at a fast pace.

Again, this link will tell you everything you need to know about what to do next :) https://teamtreehouse.com/retiring-gamedev-vr
