Okay I see the problem. You have correctly added the class attributes on your HTML elements. However you have a closing header tag after the opening header tag just before the content of the header element. Delete that.

For your CSS, you should have your previous code from the previous step:

.main-header {
  background-color: orange;
}

Now you need to create a new rule that targets the second class you added (main-heading) and add the code to it, here's a starting point to what your code should look like:

.main-header {
  background-color: orange;
}

.main-heading {
  /*  Add the property and value that the challenge wants you to add here. */
}

Look at your selector, you are targetting an incorrect class name. The class you need to target is main-heading not main-header.
