Hi Ty!

When using variables, you don't put them in quotes.

For example:

let firstName= 'Tyson';

console.log(firstName);

Will log:

Tyson

But this:

let firstName= 'Tyson';

console.log('firstName');

Will log:

firstName

This passes tasks 1 & 2:

let firstName= 'Tyson';
let lastName= 'Pink';
let role = 'developer';
msg = firstName + ' ' + lastName + ': ' + role;

I hope that helps.

Stay safe and happy coding!
