No idea. As per usual.

I'm not sure why this won't work, removing it? I did it how he did in the video, I also without declaring the variables again as the parentNodes, just simply trying body.remove(pleaseEnableParagraph); It does not like either solution. Any suggestions? Thank you.

You need to use Node.removeChild():

body.removeChild(pleaseEnableParagraph);
