No idea how to make this Try and Except challenge work beyond step two

Details are in the code - it doesn't work, & I don't know how to fix it.

def add(arg01, arg02):
    try:
        arrrgh = int(input("arg01")", ("arg02")) 
    except ValueError:
        return(None)
    else:
        return(float(arg01) + float(arg02))
