JavaScript

Nodejs Javascript execution line by line ??

Hi, Need Clarification in this. Normally in JavaScript the following code should throw an error like ( "requestPage" is not defined.).

const http = require("http");
http.createServer((request, response) => {
    response.writeHead(200, {"Content-Type": "text/plain"});
    requestPage(request, response);
}).listen(8080);
console.log("server ready url = localhost:8080");

const requestPage = (request, response) => {
    console.log(request.url);
    switch (request.url) {
        case '/':
            response.write(request.url)
            break;
        default:
            response.write("Bad URL")
            break;
    }
    response.end("Hello Again");
};

In this case its browser which executes codes line by line. NodeJs can has no problem with this issue i guess.
