    bio = CharField(default='')

    class Meta:

Ammar,

Your code is correct-- the Challenge grader, not so much! I like that you are using best practices from Kenneth's teaching to include indexes. Nice work! If you introduce those straight away from the beginning, you won't run into speed issues with querying the data.

I think the addition of indexes to the class Meta is what is throwing the Challenge grader off. In this case, the Challenge grader isn't even checking for class Meta so strictly speaking you could omit that too. But that would be bad programming practice.

Step 1 ONLY needs this code added:

class Relationship(Model):
    from_user = ForeignKeyField(User, related_name='relationships')

    class Meta:
        database = DATABASE

Step 2 ONLY needs this code added:

class Relationship(Model):
    from_user = ForeignKeyField(User, related_name='relationships')
    to_user = ForeignKeyField(User, related_name='related_to')

    class Meta:
        database = DATABASE

Step 3 ONLY needs this code added:

class Relationship(Model):
    from_user = ForeignKeyField(User, related_name='relationships')
    to_user = ForeignKeyField(User, related_name='related_to')
    created_at = DateTimeField(default=datetime.datetime.now)

    class Meta:
        database = DATABASE
