Just wants me to append the two items into todo...
var todo = ["Learn Swift", "Build App", "Deploy App"]
todo.append("Debug App", "Fix Bugs")

with append you can only add one object to an array. To add more objects you can use the "+=" operator or the .extends method. Take a look at the documentation of Apple for collection types.
Here is your example working in playground:
var todo = ["Learn Swift", "Build App", "Deploy App"]
todo += ["Debug App", "Fix Bugs"]
