Not selecting

Hey! Can't seem to figure out what's wrong with my code. I can't get it to select or deselect the colors. Not getting any JS errors either. Any ideas?

 var color = $(".slected").css("background-color");

$(".controls li").click(function(){

  $(this).siblings().removeClass("selected");
  $(this).addClass("selected");
  color = $(this).css("background-color");

});

Hi, when you declare your color variable you have a typo it says .slected and should be .selected
