Not sure why this is incorrect.
Not sure why this is giving me this error.
var fullName = getElementById("full_name"); var lastName;
<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head></head> <body> <h1 id="full_name"><span class="first_name">Andrew</span> <span class="last_name">Chalkley</span></h1> <script src="app.js"></script> </body> </html>
It's incorrect because you can't use the getElementById function on it's own, it belongs to the document object and has to be called on it like this:
var fullName = document.getElementById("full_name");
