iOS Swift 2.0 Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Loops Working with Loops

Not understanding how to retrieve the values and add to the variable

Not sure how this is supposed to be done.

while.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
   sum = (counter++)
}

var newValue = counter

sum = (sum + newValue)

Your loop is fine, but you need to sum up the numbers in the array, and increment counter each time through the loop:

while counter < numbers.count {
   sum += numbers[counter]
   counter++
}

Thank you, I kept getting errors when I ran it in Xcode that displayed no informational value.
