not working navigationSelect.addEventListener("click", navigateToValue); n

I am in the last step of completing the Interactive Web Pages and I am adding addEventListener function every thing is fine but it is still now working why?? Andrew Clark

app.js
//Select select box
var navigationSelect = document.getElementById("nav");

//Navigate to URL when select box is changed
var navigateToValue = function() {
  window.location = this.value;
}

//Send analytics data
var sendAnalytics = function() {
  //Placeholder
}

navigationSelect.addEventListener("click", navigateToValue);
navigationSelect.addEventListener("click", sendAnalytics);
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <body>
    <select id="nav">
      <option value="index.html">Home</option>
      <option value="about.html">About</option>
    </select>
    <h1>Home</h1>
    <script src="app.js"></script>
  </body>
</html>
about.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <body>
    <select id="nav">
      <option value="index.html">Home</option>
      <option value="about.html">About</option>
    </select>
    <h1>About</h1>
    <script src="app.js"></script>
  </body>
</html>

Try this change to your app.js code

navigationSelect.addEventListener ("change", navigateToValue);
navigationSelect.addEventListener ("change", sendAnalytics);

joshwisdom is correct. The challenge is looking for the event listener when the checkbox is changed, not necessarily clicked.

navigationSelect.addEventListener("change", navigateToValue);
navigationSelect.addEventListener("change", sendAnalytics);
