PHP PHP Basics (Retired) PHP Datatypes PHP Datatypes Challenge

Now using the colors array echo the second value

I have typed in this code but it wont work.

$colors = array('red', 'blue', 'green') echo $colors[2];

index.php

$integer_one = 1;
$integer_two = 2;
$golden = 1.618;
$bool = TRUE;

$colors = array('red', 'blue', 'green')
echo $colors[2];

Hi Damien,

You're not far off! Remember when using arrays it starts at 0 so the first value would be set to 0, the second value would be set to 1 and so on.

so your code should look as follows:

//Place your code below this comment
$integer_one = 1;
$integer_two = 2;
$golden = 1.618;
$bool = TRUE;

$colors = array('red', 'blue', 'green')
echo $colors[1];

?>
