Now using the $colors array, echo the second value

my answer stil not working

When accessing arrays by their key, remember that there are two types of arrays; a standard array and an associative array. An associative array is one where the key / index isn't numeric. So, you could have an array called $country["US"] = "United States"

If you don't have an associative array, then the key is an integer. In your example, you're accessing the array as if it was an associative array because you've put the key in quotes, so PHP is treating it like a string and not an integer, and it can't find an array where the key is "1" (because it doesn't exist!)

I think if you remove the single quotes from around the "1" it should work.
