3,565 Pointsnum_courses() function not working
I am not sure why my function isnt working. for each value list, i am trying to get its length, and add it to the total. This should work.
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
# 'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.
def num_teachers(teacherDict):
return len(teacherDict)
def num_courses(teacherDict):
total = 0
for courses in teacherDict.values():
total += len(courses)
return total
