Off topic. Is there a specific reason why you embrace print statements with parentheses? e.g. print('somethinh')

In, Python 3, you have to do that print('somethinh'), if you try to use print like you'd in Python2 print 'something', it'll be a syntax error.

That is because in Python 3, print was changed into a built-in function of the language, and since using print is a a function call, you need parentheses.
