On line 11 in app.js, implement the isUsernamePresent function. Return true if the username length is greater than 0.

Question

Type Error '0' is not a function..

The only other way around this was to be using an if statement.

You're doing fine! You just have an extra set of parentheses And looking at your profile, I think I know why. Java uses a method called length(). Here it's just length.

  return $username.val().length > 0;   //note the absence of parentheses after 
}
