onResume wont work?

When I type onResume it doesn't pop up in Autocorrect. And when I type it out it comes with errors. is there a way i can fix this?

Had the same problem. Try typing onResume without, protected or void, outside your onCreate but inside your Activity(between the last two curly brackets) start with small 'o' and then it should pop up. I am using Android Studio 1.3.0.
