JavaScript jQuery Basics (2014) Creating a Spoiler Revealer Perfect

Opinion on my solution

Hi. Just wondering if anybody had any thoughts on my solution. It works fine, I'm just having trouble with DRY programming and cutting down on my code.

Thanks in advance

Paul

//HIDE SPOILER CONTENTS
$("span").hide();

//ADD TEXT TO .SPOILER
$(".spoiler").append("<p class='spoil_text'>***REVEAL SPOILER***</p>");

//KEEP HEIGHT OF ELEMENT
$(".spoiler").height(80)

//SHOW/HIDE SPOILER ON MOUSEOVER/LEAVE
$(".spoiler").mouseover(function() {
  $(".spoil_text").hide();
  $("span").show();
  });
$(".spoiler").mouseleave(function() {
  $("span").hide();
  $(".spoil_text").show();
})
