Personal code snippet library

I am just starting out with frontend development and as I find myself in need of a place to take personal notes and save reusable pieces of code, I wondered what application you use to keep all this valuable information organized.

I just stumbled upon GistBox. It appears to be free and looks very shiny. Are there other, better alternatives?

Thank you for your time.

I've been meaning in the past to create a code snippet library of myself but I never really had the time or energy to complete it.

I do keep notes of snippets when I go through courses. I use Evernote to do that and it;s a big part of my learning strategy.
