PHP Code Understanding

Is that necessarily need to understand all PHP code/function in there (art.php/content-art.php/single-art/php) right now ? I'm beginner at WordPress with basic PHP knowledge. Should i study PHP first WordPress later ?

It's probably not absolutely necessary but I would recommend learning at least the basics of PHP before learning WordPress Development. It will make it much easier to understand in my opinion.

Thanks for your opinion.

I agree with Tiffany. If you want to build anything in WordPress, like a plugin or theme you need to know PHP. If you want to be a WP user you really don't need to know PHP.

Thanks for your opinion. Yes, i'm trying to improve my PHP skill.
