iOS Object-Oriented Swift Complex Data Structures Adding Instance Methods

struct Person {
    let firstName: String
    let lastName: String


        func fullName() -> (String){
            var  fullNames :String
            fullNames = firstName + " "+lastName
        return fullNames
        }

  1. There is no need to declare a variable inside of your method
  2. Inside method your are just returning full name which is first name and last name
  3. You then call that method and put in you own values
struct Person {
    let firstName: String
    let lastName: String

    func fullName() -> String {

        return "\(firstName) \(lastName)"
    }
}

let aPerson = Person(firstName: "Jeff", lastName: "McDivitt")
let myFullName = aPerson.fullName()
