Please help again

What is wrong here? Get bummer: Wrong number of prints ??

def even_odd(num):
    return not num % 2

start = 5

while start == True:
    ran = random.randint(1, 99)
    if even_odd(ran) == 0:
        print("{} is even".format(ran))
    else:
        print("{} is odd".format(ran))

    start -= 1

Hi there! I think you might get it with these hints:

  • the even_odd function does not return a number. It returns True or False. It returns True if the number is even and False if the number is odd.

  • the start value starts at 5. Your while loop will never run because start is "truthy" but it's not explicitly equal to True

While it does need to be removed, it will not result in the challenge passing as the while loop will never be executed.
