please help with this javascript quiz question

Can you please help me with this quiz question below :

Quiz Question 1 of 5 Please fill in the correct answer in each blank provided below.

How would you select the body element using document.getElementsByTagName, and store it in the variable body?

(Hint: Don't forget that this method returns a collection, not a single element.) const body =

My answer is document.getElementsByTagName("body"); but this doesn't work? can someone help?

As the question states getElementsByTagName retrieves a collection but you have to specify an individual element. Since there is only one body element, that element is item 0 in the collection.
