CSS Sass Basics Write Smart and Efficient CSS with Sass Write a Sass Function

Please somebody help me, because i'm stuck

Finally, create a rule that targets an h1. Use the px-to-rem function to convert a font-size value of 60px to a value in rem units.

style.scss
$base-font-size: 16px;

// Write your function here
@function px-to-rem($target, $context:$base-font-size) {
@return ($target / $context) * 1rem;
}

h1 {
font-size:px-to-rem (60px, rem);
}

Hi Matas,

Everything looks good, except for two things.

  1. You have set a default value for the context, so you don't need to pass anything in when calling the function. Now if you were to pass in something, it would have to be a value not a unit type. But, for this challenge, it is expecting nothing passed in for context. It should just be px-to-rem(60px);
  2. You have a space between the function name and the opening parenthesis at the function call, and the challenge doesn't like that.

So, just two quick fixes and you're good to go. :)

Keep coding! :dizzy:

I finally got unstuck thanks to your second tip. Thank you!!
