Printing var contents to a page

Hello,

I have been asked to create a variable named 'player' and give the string 'Jasmine' to it, which I have done. Next I have been asked to use the document.write() function to print the contents of the player variable to the page. I have tried a bunch of different combinations but keep getting a "parse error." Would anyone be able to tell me what I should be typing into the document.write() function?

Hello Taylor! You had a great start! You'll want to define your variable player, and then pass it into document.write() like this:

var player;
player = 'Jasmine';
document.write(player);

Don't forget to end your statements with a semicolon. Good luck!
