Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Membership

store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
if time in store_hours:
    store_open = True
    else:
        store_open = False

Someone will probably give a more detailed answer but it seems the else keyword needs to be to the left, so it aligns with the if keyword above it. This fixed it for me.

Why this is nessecary idk since i don't know python, maybe someone else will explain it.

time = 15

store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]

if time in store_hours:
    store_open = True
else:
    store_open = False

I'm guessing it has to do with how whitespace is handled in Python. I'm doing C# myself atm and it's different.
