I'm getting the error message 'For fragments, we must call the 'findViewById()' method from the 'rootView' that is created.' I've tried placing the line: mDeleteButton = (Button)findViewById(R.id.DeleteButton); everywhere it could possibly go but I can't seem to make it work

@Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_photo, container, false);
mDeleteButton = (Button)rootView.findViewById(R.id.deleteButton);
return rootView;
}
