Prompt isnt working

Confused on why the "do" part of my do... while loop isnt working.

script.js
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
do  {
    secret = prompt();
}
while ( secret !== "sesame" )
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Hi Ryan,

var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?"); // <- delete prompt() and set value to "sesame"
do  {
    secret = prompt(); // <- set a different variable to hold the value of prompt. In the prompt include the string you had above.
}
while ( secret !== "sesame" )
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

// Hope that helps!

You need to pass what you want the prompt function to prompt to the user inside of the do part of the loop, otherwise it'll keep opening an empty prompt window.

!== here is the problem. It should be != with one equal sign
