Pulling from wiki; how to pull from another site?

In this example we are using astrosUrl and wikiUrl to pull info we want onto our project. If I wanted to practice this with different sites how do I get that info? Do I have to get access to their JSON? Do I need a special API url? Example: Lets say I want to pull pictures and text from a W3 schools page and display it on mine.

Yes, you may need an API to get data from a website.
