the ruby method puts stands for put string to see this in action use irb command in console then run puts 'Hello World!' hope it'll work.

puts "Hello World!"

This should be all you have/need and it should work when you rub it. If you type irb in the console and press enter. Then type this exactly it should return 'Hello World!'
